Working with the very best: The MÄURER & WIRTZ Best Supplier Award

Long-term collaboration with excellent suppliers plays a fundamental role in sustainable business success. In recognition of this, MÄURER & WIRTZ has launched an award which will be presented to the best, most efficient supplier to honour the supplier’s performance in the past business year. The MÄURER & WIRTZ Best Supplier Award is a mark of our great appreciation of their dedication and excellent services in procurement, quality, supply chain management processes and technology. We will be stringently assessing our suppliers’ performance, paying particular attention to criteria such as top quality, ability to innovate, transparency in costs and offers, efficient procurement processes and delivery reliability.

This year’s MÄURER & WIRTZ Best Supplier Award will be presented to Seufert Transparente Verpackungen GmbH, Rodgau. The company, which has been operating for more than three decades, specialises in the production of high quality transparent packaging and blister packs for a variety of sectors, including the cosmetics industry. Seufert Transparente Verpackungen GmbH stands out on account of the company’s exceptional creativity, innovation and advanced technologies.

In an evening event on 18th May, 2011, the prize will be presented by Andreas Hildebrandt (Director of Procurement & Packaging Development), Christiane Edelhoff (Head of Packaging Development) and Simone Rockenfeller (Procurement Manager) at our traditional premises at Glockengasse in Cologne.
