Three new prestige fragrances expand the collection

Fragrance manufacturer 4711 presents three new olfactory masterpieces within the Acqua Colonia Collection Absolue: White Cedar, Imperial Tobacco and Royal Oud. These three unmistakable creations are expanding the luxurious collection which comprised seven unisex fragrances until now, with notes ranging from oriental to floral to woody. The Acqua Colonia Collection Absolue fragrance line is the most extravagant and high-quality fragrance collection from the 4711 perfume house to date, in which eaux de parfum made from the most precious ingredients of the perfumer’s art are reinterpreted and given centre stage. The new fragrances will be available exclusively in the 4711 online shop from the beginning of November 2025, and then also in select specialist perfumeries from the beginning of February 2026.

A chapter of success continues

Since its launch in spring 2024, the Acqua Colonia Collection Absolue has established itself as one of the company’s finest lines: it stands for sophistication, expressiveness and a passion for haute perfumery, and is a homage to the most precious ingredients in the art of perfumery. Each fragrance is a finely tuned harmony of exclusive natural and artificial ingredients, composed in grand and innovative combinations. Cedarwood’s characterful aroma, the seductive depth of tobacco notes, and the opulence of oud wood, for example, create an olfactory result of intense and expressive eaux de parfum.

Acqua Colonia Collection Absolue – White Cedar

The White Cedar fragrance creates an artful balance of softness and depth and an essence that radiates self-confident composure. A creation that celebrates the timeless, circumspect and striking power for which cedar wood has been valued since ancient times. A strong prelude with green violet leaf and the warmth of cardamom sets the stage for a beautiful, soft heart. Powdery iris and dry cedar wood are rounded off by warm woods and sensual ambergris for the perfect balance.

The Imperial Tobacco fragrance is an ode to tobacco’s legacy as a symbol of luxury. Reinterpreted to reveal all its richness and complexity, the fragrance puts the golden glamour of tobacco front and centre. This eau de parfum captivates with its warmth and radiance. An opulent embrace of honeyed tobacco, contrasted with the aroma of black tea. What remains is a balsamic and smoky essence that lingers for a long time.

In perfumery, tobacco fascinates with its rich and multi-layered character. Its journey begins with the dried leaves of the Nicotiana plant, a practice more than 8000 years old. Acqua Colonia Collection Absolue – Royal Oud

The Royal Oud fragrance pays homage to one of the most precious woods in perfumery: oud. Inspired by the mysterious elegance and luxurious warmth with which this wood has enchanted the noble houses of the Middle East for centuries. In a delicate harmony, powerful oud contrasts with the depth of an intense raspberry note. The rich, juicy warmth of vanilla completes the composition and envelops it in a velvety, seductive sweetness.

Once reserved for kings and nobles, oud is now considered one of the most valuable essences in perfumery. Its complex nuances make it a symbol of luxury and sensuality, giving fragrances an unmistakable depth. Perfumery’s “liquid gold” is extracted from the resin of the agarwood tree. This is done by means of a lengthy process which allows the tree to heal itself. It exudes a deep, warm and smoky scent.

The entire Collection Absolue fragrance line is characterised by a graceful but opulent design: the folding box and the iconic Molanus bottle with the relief finish are entirely in matte black, which, in combination with the emblem bordered and inscribed in gold, gives these prestige fragrances an unmistakably luxurious look. The additional design elements add a special touch: the extra-thick paper label is inspired by the world of the finest luxury wines, while the stylised embossing of the ingredients only becomes visible at second glance, thus exuding subtle sophistication. The exclusive overall image is rounded off by a high-quality, eye-catching cardboard box, which, when opened, sets the stage-like scene for the flacon. The result is an extravagant and unmistakable appearance that, like its contents, exudes luxury and daring.
