Mäurer & Wirtz appoints Béatrice Billot as Global Director of Brand & Product

Latest recruitment coup secured in top management

Mäurer & Wirtz brings a high-profile industry expert on board: Béatrice Billot will take on the role of Global Director of Brand & Product on 1 June 2026. With her appointment, the fragrance company’s Management Board is now fully staffed.

Fresh impetus for the Mäurer & Wirtz fragrance world

With over 20 years of experience in international cosmetics marketing in the FMCG and retail sectors, Béatrice Billot offers extensive industry expertise. In her most recent role, she was Vice President and Managing Director of Corporate Brands at DOUGLAS GmbH. In this role, she was responsible for the strategic development and innovation agenda of the firm’s own-brand portfolio. This included both classic own-brand development and the establishment of exclusive brand formats in the fragrance and care categories, as well as the implementation of key sustainability initiatives in her area of responsibility. She led international teams at the company’s sites in Germany and France.

Previously, Béatrice Billot held various national and international positions at Schwarzkopf and Henkel. In these roles, she was responsible for the strategic brand and product development of several portfolios as well as their successful implementation in the retail segment.

Strategic management of a diversified brand portfolio

In her new role, Béatrice Billot will take over the strategic and operational management of the brand and product portfolio at Mäurer & Wirtz. Her area of responsibility encompasses the management of brands across key stages of the value chain – from the development of new fragrance products and their market launch to international brand management, positioning and portfolio development of our existing product lines.Brand & Product Management also includes the development of creative concepts for campaigns as well as close cooperation with international fragrance companies on the design of new fragrance creations.

Management structure strengthened to support global growth

A while ago, the company opted to strengthen its management structure by appointing Matthias Kohl as Chief Sales Officer. Alongside experienced managers from within the company, two new industry experts have now joined the management team. With these latest additions to the team, Mäurer & Wirtz is combining long-standing fragrance expertise with external know-how, and positioning itself for further international growth.
