As the birthplace of this iconic product, Cologne's House of 4711 is famous for its perfumer's art and keeps coming up with new creative ideas.

Refreshingly light – surprisingly effective
What are the hallmarks of a true Eau de Cologne? On the one hand, its refreshing lightness. On the other hand, its invigorating ingredients and their aroma-therapeutic qualities. Ingredients such as lemon, bergamot and orange, lavender and rosemary as well as neroli and petitgrain lend 4711 Original Eau de Cologne its unique character. Together they make up the classic fragrance, but on an individual basis each one offers its own olfactory charm. The natural effectiveness of each individual scent brings a particular feel-good factor.

In the mix 2018: Orange
2018 sees the launch of a new range of fragrances: Each of the seven main ingredients of 4711 Original Eau de Cologne will be "remixed" in a limited edition. The first of these is orange, which is given a modern interpretation: from sweet, fruity and tangy through to an aromatic bitterness. A fresh, brave and surprising composition redolent of sunshine, energy and pure joie de vivre. A powerful fragrance statement, which adds an exclamation mark to the summer of 2018.

Citrus notes are the most distinctive characteristic of Cologne fragrances. A good reason to begin the first creation of the Remix series with the cheerful exhilaration provided by the scent of oranges. Nicolas Beaulieu, the creative nose behind the 4711 Remix Cologne, describes the development of the fragrant Remix: “My intention was to create a complex Eau de Cologne that shows a sophisticated orientation towards the identity of the 4711 brand but with a surprising twist. The lively orange in combination with a slightly more bitter and aromatic note is seriously addictive. Its full-bodied and intense nature give the fragrance great presence and modernity."

In order to ensure that the orange is a true perfume experience, this is not a one-dimensional fragrance but rather a remix of citric nuances and accompanying aromatic tones. It underlines the fruitiness of the orange and lends it surprising facets. It’s the mix that makes the difference!

Colour explosion in orange – the design
The design reflects the basic idea behind the concept: Familiar elements are retained but complemented by surprising aspects. The iconic Molanus bottle and the integration of gold graphic elements are a nod to the classic 4711 Original Eau de Cologne. At the same time, colour splashes and artistic botanical elements illustrate the lightness and modernity of the Remix Cologne Edition 2018 – an olfactory fragrance explosion in spectacular hues.

An overview of the Limited Edition
A body spray is a refreshing complement to the fragrance in two sizes. The summer freshness kick is available in stores from the middle of May 2018.
