Betty Barclay pure pastel

Betty Barclay pure pastel

What better way to welcome the spring than in delicate pastel shades! They are the soft precursors of summer and put everyone in a good mood. From the middle of March 2017, this will not just apply to fashion but also to the fragrance duo Betty Barclay pure pastel mint and Betty Barclay pure pastel lemon. Delicate colours captured in two fresh, floral fragrances for a soft and airy spring sensation.

Happiness guaranteed: Sunshine & sorbet colours

As winter takes its leave, we are ready for spring from top to toe. Delicate, powdery fragrances, soft colours and loose, feminine clothes all bring happiness at this time of year. Annette Schrewe, Head of Design for the Betty Barclay Collection, knows this all too well:

"This spring, cool mint tones meet pastel lemon, leading to some unusual new combinations in the fashion world. When put together with pinks and reds, these contrasts create even more summery freshness. The wonderful diversity of pastel prints with floral and graphic elements heralds the warmer months."

Anyone who looks spring-like should also smell fresh – as a stylish appearance demands the matching fragrance.

Spring-like fragrances

The pure pastel mint fragrance is graceful with fruity-woody tones. This is the scent of a spring-like pastel mint!

After a sparkling fresh prelude of lively yuzu, blackcurrants and the aroma of pink peppercorns, the floral nuances of ylang-ylang, cyclamen and sensuous tea and rose aromas unfold in the heart notes. A soft bed of velvety sandalwood and white musk complete the fragrance.

  • Top note: Yuzu, blackcurrant and pink peppercorns
  • Middle note: Ylang-ylang, cyclamen and tea with the aroma of roses
  • Base note: Sandalwood and Sylkolide musk¹

The pure pastel lemon fragrance is gentle, consisting of fresh, floral tones and soft, creamy aromas. This is the scent of a sunny pastel yellow!

A fruity but lively top note of mandarin, lemon and green apple offers a bright yellow radiance from the start. The transparent, flowery heart notes of violet leaves, freesia and lily of the valley play gently with the sparkling tones. The soft base note of creamy amber and sandalwood along with a delicate hint of musk gives the fragrance its powdery character.

  • Top note: Mandarin, lemon and green apple
  • Middle note: Violet leaves, lily of the valley and freesia
  • Base note: Sandalwood, dried amber and musk

The communication: A summer fantasy

Betty Barclay Fragrances invites you to enter a pastel-coloured dream world through its adverts and images. Giant windmills, colourful lollipops, oversized straws and a beach with turquoise waters and a model in a bikini entice you into a world full of fun and laughter. The perfect soundtrack comes from newcomer Timothy Auld with his catchy tune "Waste some time"².
