The Beauty Astir Award goes to 4711 Acqua Colonia and s.Oliver Fragrances

Two Mäurer & Wirtz fragrance brands are fast becoming favourites amongst beauty experts in the Netherlands – two awards were presented to 4711 Acqua Colonia and s.Oliver Fragrances in March at the Dutch Beauty Astir Awards. The prize is awarded to the best cosmetic launches during the previous year by a high-calibre jury comprising Dutch beauty journalists and other influential players. The Beauty Astir prize ceremony, now in its 32nd year, is a mainstay in the cosmetics sector and awards 200 products across 16 different categories.

In Love with s.Oliver For Her

This year was especially successful for Mäurer & Wirtz – two perfumes from the women's segment took first place, one of which was s.Oliver For Her, which impressed the jury with its balanced scent of peony and magnolia. The jury found it to be intense without being overly sweet. The luxury design, outstanding price-performance ratio and intelligent placing within stores were also emphasised.

Cosy Colognes: 4711 Seasonal Edition

A prestige segment award also went to two fragrances by 4711, Acqua Colonia Plum & Honey and Red Apple & Chili, during the glamorous awards ceremony. This limited edition duo were given the prize of best perfume in the 'Exclusive women's fragrances' category. The reason given by the expert jury for their choice was the innovative fragrance manufacturing process employed by 4711, which combines decades of expertise in crafting scents with a facetted, forward-looking approach to perfume creation. The Winter Edition of Acqua Colonia, for instance, is reformulated every year and heralds a wholly new scent experience by combining warm, pleasant nuances with the striking freshness of an Eau de Cologne.
