TABAC Original is launching a Black Edition of its legendary aftershave. Since 1959, TABAC Original has been one of the most successful men’s fragrance brands and a true heritage brand that stands for authenticity, masculinity and strength like no other. The new Aftershave Black Edition remains true to this line, but gives the classic fragrance a modern twist with woody-amber accents and a new look. The brand new care product is the result of a close collaboration with the drugstore chain dm, where the limited edition will be available exclusively throughout Germany from the beginning of October 2024.
Striking freshness with a sophisticated aroma
The fragrance composition of the TABAC Original Black Edition is striking and sophisticated: A clean citrus accord at the top, combined with the spiciness of black pepper essence and the freshness of cedar leaf essence, creates the first powerful impression. At the heart, the lively note of lavandin grosso essence unfolds, accompanied by the fine woody nuance of Clearwood® and the warm, resinous tone of olibanum resinoid vulcain. The base rounds off the fragrance experience with modern accents such as Iso E Super and Amber Extreme, while cedarwood, cypriol and sandalwood essences provide depth and longevity. This uniquely masculine composition makes the aftershave a contemporary classic which, in addition to its fragrance as a lotion, also impresses with its refreshing care and skin protection.

Elegant packaging design
The design of the TABAC Original Black Edition emphasises modern elegance and sustainability thanks to the recyclable bottle. Unmistakable as the original: the striking lettering and the opal glass bottle in the shape of an amphora – in the brand new version, this is completely in elegant black. The contrasting colour red in parts of the lettering underlines the modern look and makes for an exciting eye-catcher. Available in a 100 ml version, the TABAC Original Black Edition is aimed primarily at men who value craftsmanship and quality in their grooming.
